Imatek wins export award
Imatek has been helped expand its sales and support operation into India, seen as a crucial emerging market for test equipment, particularly in the automotive sector and steelmaking.
Support from the Passport to Export Awards has been used to research markets and suitable sales and technical partners. It has led to Imatek's first order from the sub-continent, for a highly flexible IM10 system which will be delivered to the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre near Mumbai. This multi-discipline nuclear research facility will use the IM10 for a wide variety of tests, include ISO6603, flow stress, Charpy V-notch, foam compression and high speed tensile testing.
